cd channel-builder
python3 -m venv .venv
.venv/bin/pip install -r requirements.txt

# default: write web/sync into ../public, seeds into ../storage/app/channel-builder
.venv/bin/python tools/new_project.py --channel-id <32-hex> --support-template test --force

Laravel ChannelProjectService invokes the same entry with --artifact-root / --state-root.
